We Need More Child Labor

To say that my garden has been a bit "unattended" is quite an understatement.

After seeing these pictures, you may think the same of my children.
We planted our seeds indoors a couple of weeks ago and it is almost time to move them outside.  Today we began getting the garden ready.  In my house, this is the perfect opportunity for us to take advantage of our child labor.
This girl is a work horse!  She just needs a project.  She's often frustrated by her size and her inability to keep up.  In this case, she just wasn't going to let that shovel get the best of her.  Maybe she thinks wearing the biggest shirt in her closet makes her more formidable?
Don't ask me what he was thinking!  OK...so perhaps the boy and the pitch-folk wasn't exactly one of our finest parental moments.  You gotta love the ski goggles which he obviously believes complete his yard work ensemble.  (Come on, Sissy kept getting dirt in his eyes! ;-)
And, of course, no project is complete without Sissy barking giving some instructions.  (Look at that face...she's serious!!)

Two tired, dirty kids and no more weeds.

Success.
