Calmness

I've seen canvases like this all over the internet.  Lots of versions.  Such an awesome phrase!  And, man, it really spoke to me.  I knew I needed one for my office.

I ordered a vinyl from etsy and bought a plain painter's canvas and some paint.  It was a quick Saturday project and I can't wait to hang it tomorrow.  (Makes me look forward to going to work.  Hey, I need all the help I can get to get motivated these days!)

Here's a little history (my public service to you so that you don't have to g00gle it):

Keep Calm and Carry On was a poster produced by the British government in 1939 during the beginning of World War II, intended to raise the morale of the British public under the threat of impending invasion. It was little known and never used. The poster was rediscovered in 2000 and has been re-issued by a number of private sector companies, and used as the decorative theme for a range of other products. There are only two known surviving examples of the poster in the public domain. (Wikipedia)
